Welcome back, I hope all of you had a wonderful winter break and are refreshed and ready to dive in. I want to start this new year by creating meaningful opportunities for us to grow as a Division. Your creativity and passion are key to evolving our programs, facilities and services.
I’m excited to announce a new initiative, Let Us Know, to provide a platform to elevate ideas, opportunities, best practices and creativity from our most valuable resource; you — our staff. A big thank you goes out to Celena Mondie-Milner, director of New Student Services, and Eric Stoutner, director of programs for Recreational Sports, who will co-chair these efforts.
All full-time staff will receive a short Let Us Know survey after the Division-wide Staff Meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 25. This is your opportunity to share observations and ideas to shape the future of our Division. If you’ve ever thought “why can’t we…” or “wouldn’t it be great to…” this is the opportunity to make those ideas real possibilities.
We will also be meeting with thought leaders including faculty, staff from across campus, alumni, students and parents to gather their input.
Your participation will help influence the vision as we move forward, refine our scope, and strengthen partnerships and effect across campus.
I look forward to reading and hearing your cutting-edge ideas. Keep an eye out for the survey, and start thinking now about what great ideas you want to contribute.
As always, thanks for your dedication and passion supporting our students.
