There are three new legal positions related to wildfire and buildings.
These will be joint between the Climate and Energy Policy Program and the Stanford Law School Environmental Law Program. All of these positions will involve legal, policy and regulatory work in close partnership with multidisciplinary teams of postdocs and graduate students (JDs, PhDs, and MDs) in the context of policy practicums based at Stanford Law School.
They are hiring two legal fellows related to wildfire policy in California. One will focus on integration of utility wildfire mitigation planning into a broader risk management strategy for the state. The second will partner with prescribed burn associations and the Karuk Tribe focused on prescribed fire policy in California.
