Meet the Executive Team

 

Jayce Gates, President

Jayce is a member of the Texas Law Class of 2024. He is a member of Texas A&M’s class of 2019 and graduated with a B.B.A. in Business Honors and Accounting, with a minor in Sports Management. While at A&M, he served as the athletic director for Beta Upsilon Chi and was a practice player for Texas A&M’s women’s basketball team. After college, Jayce worked as a commercial banking analyst for JPMorgan Chase in Houston, Texas. At Texas Law, Jayce has been involved with Legal Eagles, the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law, and serves on the Student Advisory Council for the KBH Energy Center. After graduation, Jayce will be returning to his summer firm, Vinson & Elkins, in Houston, Texas.


Hannah Neighbors Bottorff, Director of Community Engagement

Hannah is a member of the Texas Law Class of 2025. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2022 with a degree in Leadership Studies and minors in Business and Religious Studies. While at A&M, she was involved as a peer mentor in the University Honors Program, president of the Maroon & White Leadership Program, and a counselor at Impact. At Texas Law, she is a member of the Texas Law Review and works as a TQ assisting the 1Ls in their writing classes. This summer, she worked for the Austin firm Graves, Dougherty, Hearon, & Moody. Hannah loves the Aggie commitment to service and looks forward to sharing that value with the Austin community through a local Big Event.


Evelyn Selz, Director of External Affairs

Evelyn is a member of the Texas Law Class of 2025. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M in 2022 with a B.S. in Nutrition and a Minor in Psychology. While at A&M, she worked as a 911 Dispatcher, served as the Vice President of Standards for Kappa Delta Sorority, and was a member of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council. At Texas Law, she serves as Treasurer for the Health Law Society and is a member of the Catholic Law Students Society. This summer, Evelyn worked at Baker Botts in Houston and plans to return next summer to their Tax department.


Camden Hedges, Director of Internal Affairs

Camden is a member of the University of Texas School of Law class of 2025. He graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2022 with a B.A. in History. During his time at Texas A&M he was involved with Aggie Replant and KANM student radio, as well as participating in intramurals throughout his time in Aggieland. Camden worked with the general counsel for a non-profit medical care firm during his 1L summer. His favorite parts of the Aggie family are the commitment to community and the traditions that make Texas A&M great!


Don Olmos, Texas Aggie Bar Association Representative

Don is a member of the Texas Law Class of 2024. He is a member of Texas A&M’s class of 2017 and graduated with a B.S. in Construction Science and a minor in Business. While at A&M, he was involved in the Corps of Cadets, Student Bonfire, AGC, BUILD, SAIL, and Aggies for Limbs. After college, Don managed large commercial construction in Dallas, Texas. At Texas Law, Don has been involved with Legal Eagles, The Review of Litigation, and the Board of Advocacy. After graduation, Don will be returning to his summer firm, O’Melveny & Myers, in Dallas, Texas.


Kelly Fisher, Creative Director

Kelly is a member of the Texas Law Class of 2024.  She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M in 2021 with a B.A. in International Studies focusing on Politics and Diplomacy and a minor in Spanish.  Kelly then received a certificate in Advanced International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Service.  While at A&M, she was the marshal for Kappa Kappa Gamma.  At Texas Law, she is also involved in Women’s Law Caucus, Texas Business Law Society, and the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law.  This summer, Kelly worked at McElroy, Sullivan, Miller and Weber, an oil and gas firm in Austin.
