Welcome to BME 303. You must be excited to learn C++ and Python this semester. I am sure you will find this class useful throughout your engineering career.
You will use CLion and PyCharm from JetBrains as IDEs (Integrated Development Environment) for C++ and Python, respectively. Both are commercial, so you need to get a free student license first. Also, you will need C++ compiler (MinGW) and Python interpreter to run your codes, which are open-source and free.
Besides, you will use Arduino to do the amazing project you will present to the class at the end of the semester. This software is open-source.
If you are here for installation problems, please read this first.
