CONFERENCE Texas Society of Professional Engineers State Conference & Annual Meeting Each year, TSPE chapters from across Texas gather for the TSPE Conference & Annual Meeting. For students, this multi-day conference offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with licensed Professional Engineers, learn about career paths within the profession, and gain insight into the importance of licensure and ethical practice. Through three days of technical sessions, networking events, and a dedicated student panel, our chapter members are able to build professional relationships and develop skills that support their transition from students to practicing engineers. 2026 TSPE State Conference & 90th Annual Meeting The 2026 TSPE Conference will be held in South Padre Island, TX, June 17-19th. INTEREST FORM 2025 TSPE State Conference The UT Austin TSPE Student Chapter attended the 2025 TSPE State Conference in San Antonio, Texas, where members participated in a series of presentations focused on the future of engineering. During the conference, the chapter was recognized with an Excellence Award for advancing TSPE’s mission and goals of promoting the practice of engineering and advocating for licensure. Additionally, the 2024–2025 UT Austin Student Chapter President, Sophia Shelton, was honored as the TSPE Engineering Student of the Year. 2024 TSPE State Conference The UT Austin TSPE Student Chapter attended the 2024 TSPE State Conference in El Paso, Texas, where members had the opportunity to connect with the dedicated professionals within TSPE who encouraged the new UT Austin Student Chapter. Members participated in a full day of lectures, networking dinner & events, and a student panel that facilitated meaningful discussions with engineers across all stages of their careers.
