Intelligent Infrastructure will enable Industry 4.0

The next Industrial Revolution is Industry 4.0 which enables previously unrealized economic efficiencies and commercial growth; the creation of new industries and millions of jobs; and national security and resilience. Industry 4.0 requires the bridging of the physical and the digital. The convergence of edge computing, NextG, ITS, and IoT are widely seen as the technologies that build that bridge. Investment in a 21st-century intelligent & autonomous infrastructure is among the highest priorities for stimulating economic expansion, national security, and job growth. Intelligent Infrastructure will drive the largest buildout in our nation’s history. It will drive a massive resurgence of manufacturing, engineering, construction, installation, programming, and jobs of the future.

Speaker: Jeffrey DeCoux
Jeffrey DeCoux is the founder and chairman of the Autonomy Institute, a government, industry, academia, and public alliance that aims to create the policies, industry, jobs, and community benefits of digital edge infrastructure and autonomous systems. Jeffrey holds a deep knowledge of the technology industry and a life long passion for innovation.
