Allison Normin Johnson (she/her) is a first year costume design M.F.A candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. Born and raised in Oregon, Allison graduated from Willamette University with a B.A. in Theatre Design in 2018. Her perspective is strongly shaped by her background as a crafter/maker, art history, and her international experience. After freelancing in the Portland area for 6 years, Allison has decided to return to school, hoping to deepen her practice and learn how to create compelling and meaningful art in a more sustainable and ethically driven way.
