Arash Baqipur (Integrated Media)(He/They) is a first-year MFA candidate in the Live Design & Production program at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a storyteller with backgrounds in film and Architecture and has collaborated in several short and feature films as a production designer/set & costume designer. Most recently they have been working as a projection/video designer for theatrical productions as well as live performances. Recent credits with Texas Theatre & Dance include Fall For Dance (2023), Cruising for Emotional Connection (2024) & Blood at the Root (2024). He also served as an assistant media designer for Sunset Baby (Signature Theatre, 2024). Baqipur holds a B.S. in Architecture and an M.A. in film from the University of Tehran.
