Kaitlyn Comfort (Costume Technology) (They/Them) is an MFA candidate in Live Design and Production at The University of Texas at Austin. They hold a BFA in Theatre Technical Production with a focus in costumes from Texas State University. With a strong background in costume crafts—including millinery, wig making and styling, leatherworking, and corsetry—they are passionate about blending these skills with traditional draping and tailoring to create sculptural, fantastical garments. Kaitlyn is dedicated to inclusive, equitable costuming and environmentally conscious theatrical production, striving to push the boundaries of costume technology through both innovation and sustainability.
