Kaitlyn Comfort (Costume Technology)(They/Them) is a first-year MFA candidate for Live Design and Production at The University of Texas at Austin. They currently hold a BFA in Theatre Technical Production with a focus in costumes from Texas State University. While seeking their BFA they developed a strong background in costume crafts such as millinery, wig making/styling, leather working, and corsetry. Kaitlyn is particularly interested in combining their experience in crafts with traditional draping/tailoring to create fantastical and sculptural costumes. They are also passionate about inclusive, equitable, costuming, and environmentally friendly theatrical production.
