Dr Hyoju Park is a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Texas Materials Institute working on advanced aberration corrected transmission electron microscopy. This includes annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy, 4D STEM, in-situ TEM, and atomic resolution EEL and EDX spectroscopies. Her research involves developing new methods for preparation and imaging of energy materials, such as batteries, low-dose imaging of beam sensitive materials, and atomic resolution studies of 2D materials. Prior to UT Austin, she completed her PhD in the Department of Materials Science at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in Korea, working with Prof. Zonghoon Lee on aberration-corrected atomic resolution TEM studies of 2D materials and single atom dopants and defects.
