OUR MISSON
Women in Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin is dedicated to creating an inclusive community for undergraduate women, supporting women with mentorship throughout their studies, and engaging alumni and faculty role models to advance leadership and career development in engineering.
ABOUT US
We are a student-led organization aiming to build a sense of community on campus by hosting social outreach events. Additionally, we focus on career development by fostering corporate relations and through our involvement in engineering competitions.
What We Do: Our Involvement
Corporate Relations:
WCAE organizes bi-weekly evening meetings featuring announcements and guest speakers. Corporate supporters can connect with members and share industry insights. Alumni and faculty also share their experiences as women in engineering, offering valuable networking and career guidance.
Social Outreach:
WCAE hosts fun outings like picnics, bracelet-making, and hiking socials, offering members chances to connect and create memories, often partnering with other engineering organizations.
Community Outreach:
Each year, WCAE participates in UT Girl Day, where we teach elementary students about careers in engineering through hands-on activities.

To join WCAE, attend our general meetings. No dues are required, and food will be provided.
