The second annual Congressional App Challenge is open for submissions. The Challenge is open to all high school students from participating districts, and the winners get to meet their Member of Congress and have their app displayed in the US Capitol Building!
Highlights
- WHAT: Competition in each Congressional District for high school students to create an app (desktop-, web-, or mobile-based)
- WHEN: Submissions can be submitted until November 2, 2016, and the first place winner will be chosen in the Fall of 2016 (around Dec.)
- WHO: High school students (solo, or in teams of up to four) who are eligible to attend high school in a participating Congressional District (find out your district here.)
- APPLICATION: Students submit a sign up form, app information, a demonstration video, all available on the CAC website here.
- PRIZE: Amazon Web Services credits, used to access computing, storage, database in order to build applications such as websites, mobile applications and blogs, and more! Find out more here.
