Springtime, when a young girl’s fancy turns to—hackathons!
If the HackATX event on May 13th is just not enough hacking for you (or your students), then you’ll be happy to know that the Austin chapter of Girls in Tech will be taking part in the global Hacking for Humanity event this May.
About this event
- Hackathons exist to enable the rapid prototyping of a complex problem and provide a range of solutions in a short period of time.
- By choosing to hack for humanity, we’re aiming to help change charities with tech, whilst also allowing impassioned women to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship within our tech ecosystem.
- Form a team, solve a problem, create something awesome, present it to the audience and win prizes!
