The Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin offers to different computer science camps for high school CS students. Applications are being accepted now through Wednesday, March 22, 2017
and notifications of acceptance will be sent on Friday, April 14, 2017.

Richardson High School CS Girls to host DigitalDivas 2017 Event
Do you know some high school girls in CS who are looking for some competition and camaraderie? If so, then get your team together and register for the DigitalDivas event being held on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at Richardson High School in Richardson, TX. This event is a great opportunity for high school girls interested in computer science to meet and connect with a wider CS girls community from across Texas.
CS4TX Hour of Code Training Event – November 12th
In lieu of their regular November meeting, CS4TX is holding an Hour of Code training event on Saturday, November 12th. Teachers, administrators, parents, and community members all are welcome! Coffee and breakfast tacos will be provided. This training will prepare participants to lead Hour of Code events. The trading will cover the Code.org offerings, but will also cover content-specific activities that you can do with students. Whether you are new to the Hour of Code or have run events before but want to learn more, this training will be perfect for you.
