Updated January 16, 2018
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Ozona High School Math & Computer Programming Meet IV Spring 2018, originally scheduled for February 3, 2018, has been cancelled.
Apologies to our West Texas CS community for any confusion and we’ll be sure to pass along information about any new events in your area.
Ozona High School (Region 18) is now taking registrations for its first Math and Computer Programming meet of 2018. This event will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
Ozona High School Math & Computer Programming Meet IV
February 3, 2018 (Saturday) – 8:30AM – 4:30PM
Competitions included in this event:
- Number Sense
- Calculator
- Mathematics
- Computer Science (written)
- Computer Science (programming)
The entry fee is $5 per student per test. If the student participates in computer science written and programming the total would be $10 for that event. We will use high school TMSCA tests for math events, and I will write the CS written test and programming set. Please pay before the meet or at time of registration.
Schools may bring multiple teams, and we allow both junior high and high school students to participate.
Teams must be declared when registering.
There will be medals given, and teams may be as small as 2 people and as large as 3 people.
We will also have a novice and veteran bracket for computer science. This means that students who are new and starting out in computer science will not have to compete against veteran students!
