For the third year running, we’re thrilled to have Oracle Academy as a WeTeach_CS Summit event sponsor and this year they’re even doing a special session to share how they can help K-12 teachers engage and excite their students about CS and STEM.
Excite Your Students by Adding Engaging New Projects to Your CS Curriculum : Join Oracle Academy and Learn About Our Newest 3-D Project!
Wondering how you can develop an engaging and sustainable computer science pathway? One that starts in middle school and results in students studying a STEM field during post-secondary? That is a worthy, yet undeniably, a difficult question! Oracle Academy brings world-class computer science resources to K12 through post-secondary classrooms with the goal of advancing computer science education. Join this session and explore the many benefits available to educators through an Oracle Academy membership. Specifically Oracle Academy’s new partnership with the BLOODHOUND Project! BLOODHOUND is a supersonic car, designed to reach over 1000 mph and break the land-speed record. It was developed to motivate and inspire students all over the world to study STEM curriculum. Bring your laptop to this session, because the Oracle Academy team will guide you through a hands-on experience using an Alice 3-D software project to design a desert base camp. This and other BLOODHOUND projects are available through Oracle Academy to use in your classroom to educate and excite your students about Computer Science!
