Ozona High School (Region 18) has become a hotbed of programming completion, thanks in large part to 2017 WeTeach_CS Mini-Grant award winner, Jason Davis. After hosting hosting events in the fall and spring of the 2016-17 school year, Davis has now announced two events for the fall of 2017.
Ozona High School Math & Computer Programming Meet III

Ozona High School Math & Computer Programming Meet IV
- December 16th, 2017 (Saturday) – 8:30AM – 4:30PM
- Ozona High School, 605 Ave E, Ozona, TX 76943
- More information / Registration (.docx)
Information applicable to both events
Competitions included in each event:
- Number Sense
- Calculator
- Mathematics
- Computer Science (written)
- Computer Science (programming)
The entry fee is $5 per student per test. If the student participates in computer science written and programming the total would be $10 for that event. We will use high school TMSCA tests for math events, and I will write the CS written test and programming set. Please pay before the meet or at time of registration.
Schools may bring multiple teams, and we allow both junior high and high school students to participate.
There will be medals given, and teams may be as small as 2 people and as large as 3 people.
We will also have a novice and veteran bracket for computer science. This means that students who are new and starting out in computer science will not have to compete against veteran students!
Please see the more information links above for specific information or to register for each event.
