This fall, the Center for STEM Education, the parent organization of WeTeachCS, announced a new name and a new look to accompany our mission to improve the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering, and math. The unveiling of the UT STEM Center coincided with the launch of a new website that integrates all of our projects, including WeTeachCS, into one convenient location. As part of this transition, we are incorporating the WeTeachCS blog and email subscription service into our STEM Center communications. WeTeachCS blog content will now appear as part of STEM Center News, and email subscribers will now receive the STEM Center newsletter.
For WeTeachCS Blog Subscribers
If you’re already a WeTeachCS blog subscriber and wish to continue receiving computer science content along with STEM content, then you don’t need to take any action at this time. We will automatically transfer your subscription to the new STEM Center newsletter. If you’d like to tailor the information you receive or even unsubscribe, then you may do so on the STEM Center Email Preferences page.
About WeTeachCS Content
If you’re wondering what’s going to happen to the content you use on the current WeTeachCS site, then don’t worry—it’s already on the STEM Center website. Information about Certification, the Certification Incentive Program (CIP), events, and more are already available. We’ve even created a WeTeach_CS Blog Archiveof the WeTeachCS blog to date, just in case you need to look up something in an old post.
