When an employee separates or ends a job, it is important to ensure that their employment is ended in a timely manner. Using the correct dates on both the Terminate Employee business process and End Additional Job business process is essential to ensuring that payroll and benefits are handled appropriately. To assist departments in making these determinations, we have developed new End Dates guidance to with over two dozen example scenarios. Download the new End Dates guidance.
Let Workday Notify You Know When Your Report Is Ready
Don’t let running reports in Workday slow you down. When the “processing your request” dialog appears, click “Notify me later” to continue working while the report processes in the background. You will be given the option to add a custom name to your report output and select file format (Excel or PDF). When your report is ready, Workday will notify you via an onscreen banner and a Document Available message in your Notifications list. To retrieve your finished report, you can visit your Notifications by clicking on the bell icon or click the Reports icon in the applications section of your home screen. Remember, Workday can only notify you while you are using the system. If you need to leave Workday, your report file will be waiting for you when you return.
