Research

[Research Highlight]

Our group’s general interests are in the area of semiconductor materials and devices. We focus on developing innovative semiconductor structures and device concepts through both bottom-up and top-down approaches to bring lasting impact to the field of semiconductor nanotechnology, electronics, photonics, quantum technologies, and possibly to medicine in the future.

Strain-induced Self-Rolled-Up Membrane (S-RuM) Technology

Metal-Assisted Chemical Etching (MacEtch) of Semiconductors

Metalorganic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD): III-V, III-N, and Ga2O3

Quantum materials and integrated photonics (to be updated)
