In this engaging presentation, Linda explores the early history of the area – from the Walsh family and their lime works to the dramatic 1900 dam failure – while connecting these events to the streets, landmarks and community we know today. Through maps, images, and carefully researched details, Linda brings the past to life in a way that is both informative and deeply connected to Austin’s history.
