In order to collect data from undergraduate students enrolled in AD/PR classes, you should be graduate students or faculty at the School of Advertising and Public Relations.
When you are ready to collect data, please email me at jeeyunoh@utexas.edu with the following information:
(a) The application form (download it here),
(b) a title of your study that you want to display for undergraduate students (this can be different from the original title of your study; please use easy-to-understand language),
(c) a 3-4 sentence introduction of your study, mostly importantly including its length (and procedure if it is an offline experiment),
(d) IRB approval letter (or email), and
(e) your study link, ready for distribution.
Dr. Oh will direct your email to the assistant, and the assistant will ask you to add her/him/them to your survey as an editor. The assistant will help you set up the customized ending of your survey so that we can collect students’ UT EID and names separately from your survey data.
Note. If you run a lab experiment, provide me with both your sign-up link (this will be posted on the Pool site) and your post-stimulus-survey link (this will be connected to the UT EID data).
Each semester, the participant pool is open around the second week of the semester and closed around one week before the last class day.
