NEU365N/NEU381N – Nerve Regeneration in Invertebrates and Vertebrates

Working knowledge of developmental, molecular, cellular, systems, and behavioral concepts relating to nerve regeneration following traumatic injuries to invertebrate and vertebrate organisms, peripheral and spinal axonal repairs in mammals, and repairs of plasmalemmal/axolemmal damage in invertebrates and vertebrates. This course emphasizes Critical Thinking, Good English Communication, Teamwork, and Personal Responsibility. In this course, you need to synthetize/utilize concepts and data from many subdisciplines in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

This course is offered every year (Fall up till 2022, Spring since 2023)

*For students who are interested in not only joining the lab, but to have the opportunity to be published on papers, you must take the class.
