Education

The Consortium collectively offers 7 accredited masters and doctoral degree programs in transportation-related fields. Over the past five years, consortium members have on average annually 120 students at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. level. These programs are supported by 5 full-time faculty at LSU, 8 full-time faculty at TSU, 18 full-time faculty at UT-Austin, and 11 full-time faculty at UPenn with expertise in transportation and closely related focus area.

The University of Texas at Austin:
M.S. (MSCRP) and Ph.D. in Community and Regional Planning
(Specialization: Transportation)

Texas Southern University:
M.S. in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy
(Specialization: Transportation)

University of Pennsylvania: 
M.S. City and Regional Planning
(Concentration: Sustainable Transportation)

Louisiana State University:
B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering

Education Efforts

In addition to our degree programs, the Consortium strives to enhance the educational experience of our students and graduate research assistants through a variety of events and initiatives. These include guest lectures, monthly brown bag lunch discussions, and supporting students with their capstone thesis/professional report.
