Welcome to Hello Maker Studio!
Hello Maker Studio is a collaborative makerspace for any student at the University of Texas at Austin. We provide the tools, equipment, and guidance necessary to help foster innovation in the UT community.
You can find us at WEL 2.132 and we collaborate closely with the Inventors Program. Students have access to 3D printers, laser cutters, electronics, hand tools, sewing equipment, and crafting.
We specialize in producing 3D-printed molecules and parts, as well as laser cutting/engraving. We also work well with creating Arduino-based sensors. See some examples of past projects by checking out our Gallery.
. Examples of the tools that we offer include:
-
3D printing: the Maker Space can print a wide variety of 3D objects from state-of-the-art 3D printers.
-
Laser engraving: via a high-quality Glowforge laser cutter, custom designs can be engraved on wood and acrylic quickly and efficiently.
-
Multi-functional sensors: the Maker Space hand-engineers sensors that can test a wide variety of variables, such as pH and conductivity, at a modest rate.
Based on the clientele’s specific needs, the Maker Space is ready to serve you and produce custom scientific tools that can be used anywhere from homes to research labs. To send a request today, please email us at utcnsmakerspace@gmail.com. We hope to see you soon!
