I probably should have posted this here last week when I posted it on Shoptalk: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard: the Ars Technica review. The part I found most interesting was the stuff about LLVM and Grand Central Dispatch, which starts around page 9 or 10. (The whole review takes up 23 pages.)
Today, via John Gruber, I see that Apple has released the user-space part of GCD as open source: libdispatch. I wonder when (or if) someone will port this to Linux or Solaris.
