Holly Ryon, PhD

Holly Headshot

Holly is the a graduate of the Human Development and Family Sciences PhD program at the University of Texas at Austin.  Prior to that, she received a Masters in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2008.  Her research focuses on an individual’s sense of control within the larger context of a major life stressor.  Specifically, how one’s sense of control might fluctuate when faced with novel events.  Other areas of interest include health and sexual behaviors and the developmental mechanisms involved.
