The Uprooted Project is a joint initiative of faculty with The University of Texas School of Law and the Community and Regional Planning Program at The University of Texas at Austin. The Project provides research and policy analysis to inform local actions for combatting displacement in gentrifying neighborhoods. The Project aims to support more equitable and inclusive development in Texas cities by increasing awareness of what’s gentrification, where it’s occurring, and the best policy interventions available in Texas.
