Md Rakibul Alam

Md Rakibul Alam
Former PhD Student — Transportation Systems Engineering

Md Rakibul Alam was a PhD student in Civil Engineering (Transportation Systems Engineering) at the University of Central Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and earned a master’s degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

His research focused on infrastructure systems, including pavement maintenance and life-cycle assessment using data-driven approaches. He also served as a faculty member at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS).

His work in the group included optimization of electric vehicle charging infrastructure for ridesourcing systems and applications of operations research in transportation.
