About
Alyssa Brown is a third year MS/PhD student who graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelors in Electrical Engineering. As an undergraduate she focused on analog design as well as wireless power transfer. Her current research is in high frequency magnetics for power converters, specifically in double sided conduction transformers. Her future research will focus on the automation of magnetic materials characterization at high frequency. Her hobbies include video gaming and enjoying the company of her chihuahua, Tiny. She was awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2024.
