UT for REED: Rural Enhancement through Education and Design is a student organization at The University of Texas in Austin with the mission of international development through the design and implementation of projects that meet healthcare needs in developing countries. We are currently working on four projects: The Honduras Project, The Mali Signs Project, The Jordan Water Project and The Kenya Irrigation Project. Students from our group have traveled to Mali, Honduras and the US Gulf Coast several times to implement projects. We are now planning on traveling to Honduras, Kenya and Jordan over summer 2011.
