Bike Job on Campus

UT students Looking for a job?  We have the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Description: Must be able to work the following hours, Monday through Friday 11am – 3pm.  If your career goals include alternative transportation, we have a great opportunity for you.  Focused on the UT bicycle program daily duties include: primarily operating the bicycle hub (The Kickstand) Monday through Friday 11am to 3pm, assisting with bicycle registrations, bicycle warning and impounds, and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Excellent customer relations and computer skills.  The ability to accomplish tasks in a timely fashion. Cash handling or customer service experience a plus.  Must be able to work Monday through Friday 11am to 3pm.  Must have basic bicycle knowledge and a strong desire to learn more regarding state laws and UT regulations regarding bicycles as well as general bicycle maintenance knowledge: including how to fix a flat, and minor adjustments to seats, brakes and handlebars.

Pay: $10/Hr

UT Community Garden Summer Hours

The UT Community Garden has announced its summer hours! We’ll be at the garden every Wednesday 5-8 PM, and we’d love your help! The garden’s located on campus at 2108 Concho St. We’re growing food for ourselves, for donation, and for UT dining halls. All the info and pictures are up on our blog www.utgardening.blogspot.com.

Opportunity for Liberal Arts students in The Daily Texan Comics Page

The Daily Texan Comics Page is holding tryouts for staff positions until June 16. We pay 8 dollars a comic to our scheduled staffers. Working at the Texan Comics Page is a great opportunity for students to build a creative portfolio, showcase their talents, and improve their skills.
