Write for The Daily Texan

The Daily Texan is hiring in all departments, including news, opinion, life and arts, sports, photo, video and web. No previous experience necessary. The Texan, which has served the University since 1900, wins more national, state and regional awards than any other paper in the nation and is one of the largest college papers in the United States. The Texan is especially looking for talented and opinionated writers to write columns and for skilled artists to draw editorial cartoons. Intern with Teach for America

Looking for a paid internship this summer? Teach For America is searching for student interns to serve as Operations Coordinator for their summer institute. This is the institute where newly accepted teachers will receive their training. The Texas Institute is held in Houston and runs from June 2nd – July 7th.
