Reading by Roger Reeves!

  • Roger Reeves, Associate Professor of English at The University of Texas at Austin, will be giving his inaugural reading on Tuesday, September 26th. Reeves’s poems have appeared in journals such as “Poetry,” “Ploughshares,” “American Poetry Review,” “Boston Review,” “Best American Poetry,” and “Tin House.”
  • He was awarded a 2015 Whiting Award, a Pushcart Prize, a Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University, and a 2013 NEA Fellowship. His first book, “King Me” (Copper Canyon Press, 2013), won the Larry Levis Reading Prize from Virginia Commonwealth University, the Zacharis Prize from “Ploughshares,” and the PEN/Oakland Josephine Miles Literary Award. Co-presented by the university’s Department of English and The New Writers Project.
