Paid Writing Mentor Position

 Apply to be an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for UGS 303 PROFESSIONALISM IN HEALTH CARE in Fall 2020! Dr. Elon Lang is co-teaching with Prof. David Laude (Chemistry) for the CNS TIP Scholars program (i.e. First Years who generally are on a pre-healthpro track).

The course is scheduled to meet: TTH 11:00 am -12:30 pm (UTC 4.124) ; W 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (BME 2.506) ; W 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (WEL 2.110)

This job is similar to the Writing Fellow position in LAH but for the College of Natural Sciences. Duties of the TAs will include:

  • facilitating student group work in-class sessions and out
  • grading biweekly short essays on a rubric
  • organizing inquiry projects
  • supporting students while they develop projects
  • grading the inquiry projects
