The College Student Commission is an official commission of the City of Austin. Members work together to find solutions to the issues affecting college students in Austin. Each area college or university has three reserved seats on the commission. UT Austin currently has two vacancies for the 2023-2024 school year.

This is an opportunity to help your campus community by sharing your experiences and observations as a college student and as a resident of Austin. You would have the chance to work with our local government by proposing recommendations for new or enhanced city programs and policies that affect you and other students.
