The Searcher is a new academic journal sponsored by the Department of English that provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to publish scholarly work in the humanities. By offering a broad platform for multiple disciplines, we hope to highlight how meaningful themes emerge and span across the humanities. Any and all research is welcome, but we especially encourage English literature research.

We are currently open to submissions and would love to showcase the outstanding research students have accomplished, whether for class or independently. We accept works under 2,000 words for our e-journal and works over 2,000 words for our print journal—a copy of which will be provided for free to contributors!
