Digital Humanities Apprenticeships

IDH Research Apprenticeships are mixed level, undergraduate and graduate, research experiences that include opportunities to work on faculty and staff-led digital humanities projects at UT for credit and a small stipend ($250 for each undergraduate student and $500 for each graduate student). Faculty and staff sponsors can support one undergraduate student and one graduate student.

The Spring 2024 topic will be “Digital Humanities and Social Justice Archives.”

First Abroad Scholarship

Every year, Texas Global awards The First Abroad Scholarship to twenty-five eligible first-year students. Each student receives $3,000 to apply towards any credit-bearing or experiential learning opportunity abroad during the standard fours year of their undergraduate studies at UT Austin, starting in Fall 2024.

Student Educators for Spring 2024 (Sanger Learning Center)

The Sanger Learning Center is hiring student educators for Spring 2024!

We are among the largest student employers on campus and pay some of the highest student wages. Working at Sanger provides valuable work experience on a flexible schedule while helping other students achieve their goals. Skills developed and implemented by student educators at Sanger include peer-to-peer content tutoring and study group facilitation.

LACS Marketing Intern Opening

Liberal Arts Career Services is looking for an energetic, well-organized, and very friendly marketing intern to join our team. Previous experience working with social media, marketing, and graphic design is a plus. Will also be required to cover front desk as needed.

The intern will work up to 15 hours a week during business hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Availability for Mondays is important for the fall semester.

McNair Scholars Program Fall 2023

The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program, part of the U.S. Department of Education’s funded TRIO programs, guides first-generation and low-income and/or underrepresented students into Ph.D. programs, and provides funding to assist with that process.
