As a collaborative pursuit, research is in many ways furthered by presenting and discussing the work with others. During the spring 2021 semester, our student group had several opportunities to share this project and our findings through both local and national virtual conferences. Creating a research poster, participating in oral presentations, and meeting researchers from the field taught us how to clearly and concisely summarize our work to different audiences. It also provided avenues to listen and learn from other scholars and highlight the importance of advancing LGBTQIA+ health research at a global level.
