EVENTS Spring 2026 Macro Conference – April 23-24, 2026 The Spring 2026 Macro Conference, co-hosted with the McCombs School of Business, will take place on April 23–24, 2026. This annual event will feature 12 invited speakers and will attract leading scholars from across the world, expanding UT Austin’s academic reach, creating opportunities for faculty and student engagement, and solidifying The University of Texas at Austin’s reputation as a hub for cutting-edge macroeconomic research. The CMT Expectations Conference – May 21, 2026 EMPCT is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the inaugural California-Michigan-Texas (CMT) Conference on Expectations and Behavior at UT Austin on May 21, 2026. This conference, co-organized by Rudi Bachmann (U. Michigan), Yuriy Gorodnichenko (UC Berkeley), and Oli Coibion (UT Austin), will rotate across institutions, beginning this year with UT Austin. We are delighted to welcome Stefanie Stantcheva (Harvard) as the keynote speaker. Submissions for the conference are due by December 31st, 2025.
