Dr. Manthiram won the Electrochemical Society Battery Division Technology Award.  Dr. Manthiram will be honored at the 240^th ECS Meeting in Orlando and will give an award talk. Dr. Manthiram is grateful to all his students and postdoctoral fellows for their outstanding contributions over the years.

New student Seamus Ober received the NSF Graduate Fellowship! Congratulations, Seamus! We now have four fellows in Manthiram Group: Two NSF fellows (Richard Sim and Seamus Ober), one NASA fellow (Abhay Gupta), and one Defense fellow (Kevin Scanlan).
