Are you excited about teaching and learning analytical chemistry? Me too. This page contains some links to educational activities from the lab.
UniDec
Interested in learning more about UniDec and mass spectrometry deconvolution? Check out the UniDec Wiki page on GitHub: https://github.com/michaelmarty/UniDec/wiki. This page includes written overviews of key features and concepts, links to formal documentation, links to video tutorials, and link to published papers and reviews. Please cite these papers, as it helps us secure additional funding for continued software development.
Mass Spec Coding Club
Interesting in learning more about how to code for applications in mass spectrometry data analysis? Check out the Mass Spec Coding Club on GitHub: https://github.com/michaelmarty/MassSpecCodingClub. This page contains video tutorials on basic coding techniques, starting from a beginner level. The focus is on applications in mass spectrometry data analysis. We plan to keep adding more modules over time, so continue to check back in and follow the page on GitHub.
Analytical Chemistry Teaching
Interested in teaching and learning for analytical chemistry? I have uploaded some course materials that I use in this GitHub page: https://github.com/michaelmarty/AnalChem. In particular, I have developed Jupyter Notebooks to teach Python coding in the context of analytical chemistry coursework. I have also uploaded my course schedules for interested teachers.
Questions?
