Amy obtained a Master’s degree in Health & Kinesiology with a focus on Community Health from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to joining the TIEMH, she worked for the Air Force Medical Readiness Agency, where she developed, implemented, and managed health promotion programs across the Air Force. Her work emphasized nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and tobacco-free living.
Amy is passionate about health and wellness as a holistic approach and strives to make a positive impact in the community. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures such as climbing to the top of the Grand Teton. She is a devoted Longhorn football fan, and also loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
