Social Science/Humanities Research Associate IV

Email: mahgul.mansoor@austin.utexas.edu

Mahgul Mansoor, a Pakistani-American, holds a master’s degree in Global Health from Duke University where she conducted research supporting family coping during the pandemic in North Carolina. Driven by a passion to improve child and adolescent mental health outcomes, she seeks to develop practical, sustainable, and effective solutions both locally and internationally. She has substantial experience in implementing digital solutions for public health in resource-limited settings, with a strong emphasis on community partnerships.

Currently, her work focuses on forensic mental health diversion programs in Texas communities, advocating for justice-involved individuals.

In her free time, Mahgul enjoys tackling the New York Times crossword and re-watching her favorite rom-com movies, often with her husband.
