Graduate Research Assistant
Originally from the Bay Area in California, Miranda graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Environmental Studies. Currently pursuing a MSSW at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, Miranda has over 3 years of experience working with non profits focusing on housing, basic needs, and workforce development for youth. With a background in quantitative analysis, her research interests include the efficacy of legal social work interventions in the criminal and juvenile justice fields. She is excited to join TIEMH’s research team, and hopes to continue to work in the legal aid field to expand the interaction between social work and law.
