Report commissioned by the City of Austin to develop scenarios for the former Home Depot site in the St. Johns neighborhood, building on the community conversations convened by Councilmember Casar’s office in partnership with community leaders.

This paper reports the results of a survey of low-income workers employed in central Austin and commuting at least 10 miles to work about the factors that shaped their decision to live where they do and their views of living closer to work.
