About the Speaker:
Mike Mackert, PhD is the director of the Center for Health Communication at the University of Texas at Austin, and professor in both Dell Med’s Department of Population Health and the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations at UT. His research focuses on the strategies that can be used in traditional and new digital media to provide effective health communication to low health literate audiences.
