February 1, 2026, Filed Under: NewsSchwartz Recognized at UT Faculty Authors Reception On January 21, The University of Texas at Austin celebrated the Seventh Annual Faculty Authors Reception, an event dedicated to honoring faculty members who published books in 2025. Among this year’s authors included Mulva Clinic faculty member William J. Schwartz, MD. His book, On the Essential Principles and Practice of Circadian Biology: A Road Map, is coauthored by Roelof A. Hut and functions as a primer for the field of circadian biology. For four decades, Schwartz has conducted NIH-funded research on biological clocks, including the “master” brain clock in the mammalian hypothalamus. Congratulations, Dr. Schwartz!
