Research Focus

PTSD

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that might occur after a traumatic event. In the last decade, progress in research on the mental and biological foundations of PTSD has lead scientists to focus on better understanding the underlying causes of why people experience a range of reactions to trauma.

At the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences research on PTSD range from understanding/assessing the brain function with the latest technological tools to performing  novel therapies using treatment modalities of exposure therapy, cognitive behavioral therapies as well as psychedelic research. Our active research team has several on-going clinical trials that you are welcome to check and participate.
