Research in our lab focuses on how emotion and cognition interact to determine how we learn about and remember important events.

We incorporate a number of ideas from psychology and neuroscience to
investigate these questions. This includes Pavlovian conditioning,
categorization, decision-making, and episodic memory. For these experiments
we use neuroimaging, psychophysiology, and immersive virtual reality tools.
